About Us
Our biggest desire is that MARMOO will bring a smile to people’s faces.
Amanda and Graham Cope have been together for 24 years, sharing a love story rooted in creativity. Their journey began with painting watercolour pictures on early dates, and over time, that love evolved into a shared artistic practice. For the past 14 years, they’ve worked side by side, designing and crafting jewellery that reflects their bond, their inspirations, and their island home.
They draw inspiration from the outdoors, nature, the changing seasons, architecture, history, animals, and the rhythms of life, space, and time. After living in several places, they returned to the Isle of Wight, where they first met and now live and create.
MarMoo blends technology and handcraft, combining modern innovation with traditional techniques. Amanda and Graham are committed to staying eco-friendly, always seeking thoughtful ways to reduce waste and honour the environment through their materials and methods.
Bringing a Smile Through Story and Design
The future of jewellery is bright and full of possibilities.
In our studio, we often reflect on what brings us joy—nature, colour, texture, and the thrill of exploring new ideas. Working together as a couple is a gift, and we feel incredibly lucky to express our love through art. Jewellery is our chosen medium because it allows us to experiment with materials and techniques, blending innovation with tradition. Our hope is that each small, handcrafted piece brings you joy, connection, and a glimpse into our story.

Where it began
Finding Light Through Art
I grew up spending part of my life in foster care, as things were difficult early on. But even in those uncertain moments, I found comfort in creativity. Art became my way of making sense of the world—a quiet space where I could express what I felt and begin to heal. With the gentle encouragement of Linda, a kind soul during my time in care, I discovered how creativity could transform pain into beauty.
What began as dark and expressive paintings slowly bloomed into vibrant works full of colour, texture, and hope. Art taught me to see the beauty in nature, the comfort in connection, and the value of life itself. Sharing my story is still scary, but I believe that honesty can create safe spaces for others to speak about the hard things they’ve faced. I don’t want to bring sadness—I want to bring joy.
Living with MEN1 and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome has brought challenges, including surgeries and setbacks, but I choose to focus on the light: my dog Bison, my relationship with Graham, the friends who surround me, and the art community I’m growing to know. We don’t know how long we have, but we do know what we want to share—the happiness we hold inside.
Jewellery became my chosen medium because it allows me to explore materials, techniques, and storytelling in a tactile, expressive way. I love experimenting—combining technology with handcraft, old methods with new ideas, always striving to be eco-conscious and thoughtful in everything I make.
With Graham’s support, I took a leap of faith and founded MarMoo, turning my passion for creating jewellery and art into a meaningful career. Every piece I create is a small expression of joy—a reminder that even through hardship, creativity can bloom. My hope is that MarMoo jewellery brings light to those who wear it, and perhaps even a sense of connection to the story behind it.
How it began
Stunning Designs by Graham: Unleashing Creativity
Immersed in the natural wonders of the Isle of Wight, Graham's childhood sparked a fusion of artistry and exploration. Surrounded by sandy shores and idyllic countryside, his curiosity blossomed into a passion for both technology and nature, a blend as unique as the island itself. Raised by a math's teacher father and a carnival-loving mother, Graham's upbringing was a tapestry of creativity and values, instilling in him a deep appreciation for honesty, learning, and holistic living. While pursuing a career in information technology, Graham never lost touch with his innate creativity. Strolls through the woods and tending to plants became his sanctuary, nurturing his artistic spirit. Leveraging his tech skills, he seamlessly weaves his love for design into intricate jewellery pieces, a harmonious fusion of his diverse interests. Rooted in his cherished memories of the Isle of Wight, Graham's evolution into a jewellery artist is a testament to the power of positive childhood influences and the boundless potential of blending technology with creativity.
